Galore SA Awards 2022

The Galore SA Awards, had it’s first announcements of winners in December 2020.  As Covid placed a massive halt on events and invites, Galore SA could not continue for a period of two years with these recognitions as there was really nothing to base decisions on.

The process of choosing a winner is an extremely long process, as we have to go through so many factors influencing our decisions.  In 2020 we had 20 categories.  Please see below the categories and winners of 2020:

The 2022 Galore SA Awards are giving more recognition and thus decided on a total of 34 categories, with one category going open for public nomination.  Anything and everything that occurred in the Galore SA universe from 1 January 2022 till 16 December 2022, will be considered.

OVERALL BEST EXPERIENCE FOR 2022

“HUMAN” AWARD

The best blog in SA, will be open for public nomination via a dedicated email address where you can send your nominations to.  For these nominations, please send the following information to awards@galoresa.online :

1. Blog Name
2. Blog Handles on the respective social media platforms
3. Blog website address

After the nomination period, we will list the top 5 blogs on our webpage and get the public to vote for 6 days via commenting on the web article that will be published on 10 December at 09:00 and will close for public votes on 16 December at 21:00   The blog with the most votes via comments will win the Galore SA Best Blog of the year award.  Only one vote per email address will be allowed and counted.

Requirements for the blog nominations:

1. The blog must have at least one active social media handle on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
2. The blog must have a valid web page.
3. There must be posts that was made in the last 60 days.
4. The blog can have any niche, as long as its’ traceable via their posts.
5. Nano, Micro or Macro blogs are accepted.

P.S.  The nomination can be from any member of the public or the blog owner him/herself.

Time stamps for the nomination and voting process:

16 November till 9 December – Nomination Period

10 December – 16 December – Announcement of Top 5 based on nominations received and Public Voting

The balance of the awards is based on the following criteria:

Galore SA or its’ representatives must have had firsthand experience with the product, business, artist, music, shows, events, festivals, travel destinations, hotels, books, etc.  Thus, we will only base our recognition process on the actual events attended, press drops received, products received, etc.

The Best Supporting follower on our three main social media streams, are decided upon by Galore SA management based upon the followers’ interaction with the posts and articles during the 2022 year.  There will be no correspondence entered into and the decision of Galore SA management will be final.

The winners will win an electronic logo which can be used on their websites, social media sites, printing, etc.  These winner logos will have the year 2022, and your category that you have won in, on it.
