During August RADA focuses its attention on the vital role women play in society and the importance of uplifting those who essentially inspire positive change in communities.

Woman’s month for RADA means a determined and increased effort focused on empowerment by delivering sustainable reusable sanitary wear to young girls who cannot afford these monthly necessities.
The RADA MiPad project is aimed at fundamentally creating a positive and lasting impact on the lives of girls, enabling them to complete their education and promoting their self-esteem and sense of equality.
The RADA MiPad pack costs R115.00 and is designed to see a young girl through her five years of high school. The impact is vast and will enable her to focus on her education instead of worrying about access to sanitary wear which is costly for many families with limited resources.
With sponsored handouts over the past year to numerous Grade 7 girls in impoverished communities, RADA has handed out 6 933 MiPads. The RADA team is working on increasing their reach with appeals for support from current and new sponsors.
