The countdown to summer is officially on! We are super excited to announce the return of ‘Lucky Fish Get Lucky Summer’ for its 14th year, bringing its signature summer concert experience back to Cape Town and the Garden Route during the 2026/27 festive season.
Founded by South Africa’s multi-award-winning live electronic band GoodLuck – ‘Lucky Fish Get Lucky Summer’ has grown into the most established summer concert series on the Garden Route, bringing live music, friends and families together in some of South Africa’s most beautiful summer destinations.
“We’ve really listened to what people want from Get Lucky Summer, and this year we’re taking the whole experience to another level. From a complete rebrand and exciting new partnerships to bigger production, better spaces, more detail and more magic across every touchpoint, we’ve been working incredibly hard to bring a much bigger vision to life. This summer, Get Lucky Summer is unveiling a complete brand and festival experience redesign, bringing a fresh new look, feel and energy to the much-loved summer concert series. From the visual identity and event environments to the way audiences experience the festival from arrival through to the final song, every touchpoint has been reimagined to create a more immersive, contemporary and distinctly Get Lucky experience. The redesign will introduce new creative elements, festival spaces, activations and audience experiences, while staying true to the heart of Get Lucky Summer – great live music, sunshine, connection, family and friends, and the freedom of summer. It marks an exciting new chapter for Get Lucky Summer as it evolves from a concert series into a fully realised summer festival experience.

ABOUT ‘LUCKY FISH GET LUCKY SUMMER’ 2026/27
The 2026/27 season marks the 14th year of GoodLuck’s annual summer concert series. What began as a live music celebration in Plettenberg Bay has grown into a multi-destination summer concert experience, with Get Lucky Summer now returning to the Cape and Garden Route for another exciting festive season.
The concert series is all about celebrating the very best in live South African music in magical and iconic outdoor summer settings and creating a family-friendly environment to enjoy the summer holidays. The confirmed Cape Town programme features a mix of established favourites and emerging talent, with GoodLuck performing across the Cape Town events.
