“The song began with a guitar riff and a feeling I just couldn’t shake,” says Charlie. “As the arrangement came together and the lyrics started to take shape, the band immediately connected with it, with each member adding their own unique energy and personality to the track. While writing, the hook, ‘And I loved and I lost over and over again,’ came to me almost instantly. It really shaped the song and reflects something so many of us have experienced at one time or another.”
Recorded with the full band, Loved and Lost carries the warm, organic sound that has become synonymous with Charlie Harris’ music. Each member contributes to the song’s emotional weight, creating a performance that feels both intimate and expansive.
