An unforgettable night of music, energy, and connection awaits as Ross Learmonth takes the stage at The Capital On The Park on Saturday, 27 September. On this special night, fans can expect more than just a concert. Ross brings his raw talent and electrifying presence to one of Johannesburg’s most prestigious venues, pairing his powerful live performance with a vibrant atmosphere, exquisite cuisine, and perfectly poured drinks.

Ross, also known as the unmistakable voice and former frontman of Prime Circle, takes the stage riding high on a landmark year that has seen him open for the Goo Goo Dolls in Gauteng, headline the RMB Starlight Classics in Cape Town, and step into the spotlight with a solo debut at Kirstenbosch Gardens. Internationally, his sold-out show at Shepherd’s Bush in London cemented his reputation as one of South Africa’s most captivating performers.

The performance comes hot on the heels of Heavy Love, Ross’s latest single. Gritty and emotionally charged, the track has already been making waves. Following the success of his previous single, Opposites, which climbed major South African radio charts, Heavy Love marks another bold step in Ross’s evolution as a solo artist.

“The past few years I have been working on bringing myself back from a dark space,” Ross shares. “I had to let go of relationships and environments I loved, but that was holding me back. Heavy Love was born from that process. There is defiance in it, but also maturity and acceptance.”

Produced by Rusti and Tristan, Heavy Love started as a simple voice note after an unproductive studio day, only to become a defining moment in Ross’s creative journey. “I was going to record a totally different song, but it just was not working. I kept hearing Heavy Love in my head on the drive home, so I quickly recorded it and sent it to the team. It became clear that this was the one.”

With The Capital On The Park launching a new series of live music experiences in Johannesburg, Ross’s performance sets the bar high. Audiences can look forward to good vibes, exceptional company, and a night to remember in the heart of the city.

Opening act: upcoming talent Matthew Charles, known for his singles Disclaimers and Te Amo
