TAPPUTI EGYPTIAN PERFUME OILS, the epitome of luxury and elegance, is thrilled to announce and welcome the newest additions to their tribe of remarkable faces for the year 2023. In a tradition that began last year, the brand welcomed a diverse and empowered group of South African women to represent the essence of Tapputi locally.
The faces introduced in 2022 – Margit Meyer-Rödenbeck, Rozanne McKenzie, Danelle Liebenberg ElFar, Chané Grobler and Vourné Kgosinkwe – each one, a beacon of beauty and grace, has found a special place within the heart of Tapputi and paved the way for the brand’s commitment to celebrating femininity and diversity.
This year, Tapputi proudly welcomes Zinhle Matthews (chartered certified accountant, author, finalist at Supreme Queen Global Earth Africa), Carla McKenzie (radio and television presenter/ producer), Anne-Maye Bam (final year student in industrial sociology and labour studies at The University of Pretoria), Alita du Plessis (owner and founder of Purple Carrot Jewellery), and Danelle Liebenberg ElFar (publicist, social media content creator and influencer based in Egypt), enriching their growing collection and capturing the essence of modern women who stand tall as leaders in their respective fields in South Africa and Egypt.
“At Tapputi, we hold a deep admiration for the unique essence that each woman brings to the world. It’s in the way she carries herself, the sparkle in her eyes, and the grace with which she embraces life. We believe that every woman is a masterpiece, and her spirit adds a touch of magic to the tapestry of the world”, says the creative team behind Tapputi.
Zinhle Matthews, who’s also the author of the children’s book called My Family of Superheroes, which introduces positive affirmations to children and is in the running to represent Sub-Saharan Africa at the Mrs Universe International in 2024 says: “Joining the faces of Tapputi is such a privilege as I am introduced to a community of incredible women who are writing their own stories authentically and certainly unapologetically. What an honour! Thank you Tapputi”.
In a stunning photoshoot captured by Gerduan Kemp Photography, the new faces of Tapputi are portrayed in vibrant and white hues, reminiscent of the rich diversity of femininity, beautifully intertwined with the carefully crafted and captivating Egyptian Perfume Oils in the most exquisite vintage bottles. The brand draws inspiration from the iconic and trailblazing Tapputi Belatekallim, the head of her house, the king’s palace, and the first female chemist in Babylonian times, emphasizing the importance of embracing femininity and celebrating individuality. Throughout the year, women step into various roles – they are heads of their households, leaders in their jobs, and pioneers in their companies. Their determination and grace echo the spirit of Tapputi.
Tapputi is on everyone’s lips, wrists and necks. From celebrities to fashionistas, businesswomen, mothers and daughters – everyone’s talking about and investing in Tapputi. It is definitely the latest trend and looking at its exquisite growing collections of 17 A-grade, undiluted, alcohol-free Egyptian Perfume Oils housed in vintage perfume bottles one can understand why it is the absolute talk of the town. The brand’s commitment to offering a fragrance for every woman is underscored by the diverse range of perfume oils, inviting every woman to experience the magic of Tapputi that will transport you to a realm of opulence, enchantment and beauty at an affordable price.
