Francois van Coke is busy releasing his En Vriende II EP track-by-track in the lead-up to the popular Francois van Coke & Vriende 2023 concerts at SunBet Arena (Pretoria) on 18 August and at the Grand Arena in Cape Town on 16 September.
As Ek Weg Is is the second single from this EP and when Francois and his The Voice SA protégé, Tasché collaborate, magic happens.
“As Ek Weg Is (When I’m Gone) is a love song to all my loved ones; sung from the afterlife,” explains Francois.
They will perform this stirring singalong ballad at the Francois van Coke & Vriende 2023 concerts… and you’ll probably hear it at a few weddings going forward.
The En Vriende II EP also features collaborations with Loufi, Zaan Sonnekus, Neon Dreams and Hanu de Jong from The Narrow. Almal Baklei with Zaan Sonnekus was the first single released from this EP.
The new music featuring Loufi, Neon Dreams and Zaan Sonnekus can also be experienced live at the Francois van Coke & Vriende concerts.
