Featuring the talent of Ian Roberts, the Radio Kalahari Orkes will be performing a mix of musical styles, focusing on Cape Malay and traditional Afrikaans styles. The band incorporates traditional, often underused instruments into their music, such as the fiddle, mouth organ, castanets, and pennywhistle. The band gives traditional ‘boeremusiek’ a new lease on life.
