Wonderful audience response to show full of high-tech special effects, sublime talent, and Disney classics old and new means Durban fans can expect an extra performance
Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party’s Pretoria run at the SunBet Arena at Time Square may have taken place during the coldest part of the year so far, but the show has received an incredibly warm reception from its Gauteng, Cape Town and Durban audiences. Such is the buzz and exceptional demand for tickets that producer Feld Entertainment and local promoter Showtime Management have added an extra show to the production’s Durban run to meet overwhelming demand. The extra show will be at 10am on Friday 24 July, at the Durban International Conference Centre. There are now three shows daily on 24 July, 25 July and 26 July. With families attending together during the winter school holidays, it was not only kids enjoying the antics of Mickey Mouse and his friends as they perform their way through Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party; adults of all ages were also captivated by the world-class skating, high-flying acrobatics and unexpected stunts.

The show opens in Cape Town this week, with its run at the Grand Arena, Grandwest, commencing on Friday 10 July. Western Cape Disney fans can look for clues in the search for Tinker Bell through immersive, fantastic worlds. Explore the colourful spirit realm of Coco, sail away with Moana as she bravely saves her island, see Belle in the sky as the enchanted chandelier comes to life, and sing along with Elsa in the icy world of Frozen. They should also look out for Stitch, who made his Disney On Ice debut in South Africa in Pretoria, crashing the action with mischievous surprises!
