Francois van Coke & Vriende 2026: Is this the line-up to rule them all?

The biggest night in SA rock and alternative music returns for the 7^th time to the SunBet Arena, Time Square (Pretoria) on Friday, 9 October. 

Francois van Coke & Vriende is an electric high energy arena show with world-class production which sells out every year since its inception in 2018.

What makes this concert so special, is that Francois has collaborated and released music with all the artists on this line-up. During this 2-hour concert, Francois’ friends join him on stage to perform the hits they created together.

This year’s show will be packed with highlights and magic moments again. Francois says that “new songs will definitely be played, but that the set will be packed with hits from all your favourite alternative Afrikaans artists.”

Robbie Wessels debuts on this year’s line-up for their hit rugby collab, “Bokbefok” and maybe even a “lelike ding wat kopwys”…

Francois is looking forward to performing some new songs, especially his latest single, “Nagmerries”. He is also excited for Tasche and Zaan Sonnekus to perform their hit, “Dood” at this year’s show.

Early B and Neon Dreams make a welcome return to this top tier line-up.

“I’m looking forward to playing tunes from the last 23 years with Die Gevaar, Fokofpolisiekar and my insane tjommies,” says Francois.
