“The track started with a riff I threw to the band. The first line just landed—I went with it because it sounded right. Then the meaning clicked: everyone’s been let down at some point, but the real twist is when those same people come crawling back with excuses once you’ve moved forward. That’s where ‘cry me a river of crocodile tears’ came in—it set the tone perfectly from the start.”
Built around that initial spark, “Cry Me A River” evolves into a sharp, emotionally charged anthem. With its biting lyrical hook and grounded instrumentation, the song balances vulnerability with quiet defiance.
Backed by the dynamic energy of Keep Guessing, the EP blends acoustic textures with full-band depth, creating a sound that is intimate yet expansive.
