A defining first release in a new era shaped by their ‘Get Busy Living’ philosophy

Global electronic duo GoldFish return with “Little Wonder,” an uplifting new single featuring legendary South African vocalist Zolani Mahola, via their own label 33 Degrees.
The track marks the genesis of a new chapter for the duo, signaling a broader creative evolution: One rooted not only in sound, but in lifestyle, storytelling, and cultural perspective.
Built on hypnotic synths, warm rolling basslines, and dreamy piano textures, “Little Wonder” expands GoldFish’s signature sound into a more soulful, Afro house-leaning space. Zolani Mahola’s vocal anchors the track with emotional depth, balancing intimacy and uplift as it unfolds into a resonant, feel-good dancefloor moment. At its core the song is about presence, connection, and rediscovery, comfortably at home in shared moments as much as personal reflection.
The release also reaffirms GoldFish’s creative philosophy: A fierce mindset centered on visceral moments, meaningful experiences and timeless music. This expands the GoldFish message beyond the stage and beyond the music into something more immersive and human.
“Little Wonder” sets the tone for what lies ahead: a brand new live set recorded at London’s iconic Roundhouse, and a fresh musical direction capturing the energy and musicality of this next phase. Together these moments reflect a more complete vision of GoldFish, bridging their live roots with a refined global electronic sound.
GoldFish shares, “Working with Zolani in San Diego was a lot of fun. It was a full-circle moment bringing three Capetonians together so far from home, which added real depth and soul to the track. We’ve always tried to balance dancefloor energy with something more meaningful, and this feels like a chapter where our sound and storytelling are truly aligned.”
Zolani adds, “I’ve had a long relationship with GoldFish from the early days when we were all starting out. Coming together in San Diego to finally write was a big moment, made possible by incredible support from home. It felt like something people really wanted to see happen.”
Known for their distinctive live shows blending saxophone, double bass, and keys, GoldFish have grown from South African icons into a globally recognized act with sold-out shows and major festival appearances. With “Little Wonder,” they continue to evolve, leaning further into warmth, musicality, and emotional depth.
More than a single, “Little Wonder” is the entry point into a new GoldFish era, defined by intention, timelessness, and a deeper connection between music and life.

ABOUT GOLDFISH: Before changing the Electronic Music game in South Africa as GoldFish, Dominic Peters and David Poole were mild-mannered students by day that blew the roof off house parties by night. Their trail blazing live show, which mixed tireless house beats with multiple live instrumental performances earned the attention of a swelling house and electronic music fan base.
As their fame grew, so did their scope, scouring obscure sources for unique and cheeky samples that they twisted into endlessly fun hooks and choruses. Stirring African rhythms and Sax melodies into the mix helped Goldfish evolve a truly unique house sound.Their burnished grooves are rooted in pure pop pleasure, hooking even the most cautious listener onto the dance floor (without next-day regret).
After captivating dance floors from Ibiza to San Diego with their genredefying live shows, GoldFish begins a new chapter with “Body Language”, weaving their signature Afro House rhythms and organic instruments into a fresh, modern sound.
“South Africa has always been in our DNA,” says Dom and Dave ofGoldFish. “This track is about the unspoken communication that music creates. South Africa may have 11 official languages, but Body Language is the way we communicate best.”
This single marks the beginning of a brand new chapter for GoldFish, teasing a broader Afro-inspired project and simultaneously launching their record label 33 Degrees. The label’s origins stem from having created their entire discography-based 33° South (Cape Town) and 33° North (San Diego). It will see them explore deeper house textures and continue their passion for showcasing new talent.
