Creative Director of The Heartsong Collective, Lynne Poulsen explains; “The Heartsong Collective has been on quite a journey this year as a community, with many challenges to face, individually and collectively. We have found that singing together has made such a difference in our lives and we want to spread these good vibes out into the community and be a source of inspiration to others.

Our slogan is Sing. Connect. Transform and we truly believe that singing together can change lives.”

Why St Georges Cathedral?

Poulsen continues; “One of the highlights of 2025 was undoubtedly singing at St George’s Cathedral in the Songs for Freedom concert in July.

It inspired us so much, we decided we had to revisit this iconic venue with our own concert and collaborate with choirs that are different from us, to bring our audience something unique and truly uplifting.”

Why support Salt River Secondary School?

Poulsen concludes; “We are passionate about music education and feel it is a good fit for us to support Salt River Secondary School. They are in dire need of assistance, as they have very few resources and are severely understaffed. They also need musical instruments and school supplies.”

Are you able to donate musical instruments to the school?

Should anyone have any musical instruments they are no longer using and are able to donate to Salt River Secondary School, please contact Lynne Poulsen to make arrangements:
