Turn Up the Heat, Not the Awkward Silence – Get Ready to Howl with Laughter with Chris Forrest and Friends at Redfest’s Sauciest Shows!

Redhill Arts Festival 2025 is serving up a sizzling comedy line-up this June, and it’s not for the faint of heart – or the under-16s! With laughs, flames, and just a hint of innuendo, prepare for two unmissable comedy events: Don’t Burn Your Sausage! and the all-star Redfest Comedy Show presented by pickledginger and The BUZ Hive.

The Festival takes place from 13 – 16 June 2025 at Redhill School in Sandton, welcoming the public to enjoy a stellar showcase of theatre, music, market stalls, family fun, and of curse – unapologetically bold comedy. It’s one Weekend with two Killer Shows and a thousand laughs so don’t let your funny bone go flaccid!

Don’t Burn Your Sausage!

Saturday 14 June | 19:30 – 20:45 | Auditorium | PG16

Starring Chris Forrest and Pete Goffe-Wood, this culinary comedy is directed by Bevan Cullinan and back by very popular demand! Don’t Burn Your Sausage is a deliciously naughty comedy-cooking show that blends the heat of the kitchen with the sizzle of bedroom banter. Expect a three-course “Spadework Meal” of Foreplay, Intercourse and Afterglow, with side-splitting laughter and saucy tips along the way.

Chris Forrest, celebrated comic and Celebrity MasterChef SA winner, teams up with Pete Goffe-Wood, restauranteur, food alchemist and original MasterChef SA judge, to bring you an experience where food and sex are irresistibly intertwined – and cleavers are wielded with purpose.

Bevan Cullinan, the show’s award-winning director, brings his signature flair, having directed some of SA’s most iconic comedy, theatre and ad campaigns. A maestro of the ridiculous, Cullinan ensures this cheeky culinary caper hits all the right spots.
