ULTRA South Africa, the continent’s premier electronic music festival, is celebrating an epic milestone – a decade of unforgettable music, dance, cutting-edge production, and a loyal, ever-growing community of Ultranauts.
For its tenth anniversary, ULTRA South Africa returns to its iconic roots on Cape Town’s West Coast at The Ostrich on Friday, 9 May 2025 and Johannesburg’s Expo Centre at Nasrec on Saturday, 10 May 2025.
Since its debut in 2014, ULTRA South Africa has become one of the longest-standing editions of the global festival, welcoming over half a million fans across its Johannesburg and Cape Town events. ULTRA South Africa 2024 boasted groundbreaking performances from global icons such as Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, W&W, and Vintage Culture, alongside regional legends Major League DJZ, Shimza, and Kyle Watson.
Marking a decade of dance, ULTRA South Africa 2025 promises to bring fans an experience unlike any other, with headlining acts, exclusive anniversary surprises, and ticket specials to commemorate this landmark edition.
Starting today, 18 November, fans can register for early access to the lowest price tickets at ULTRA South Africa. A limited Rewind Ticket release will feature tickets at 2014 prices, paying homage to ULTRA South Africa’s inaugural year. These special Rewind Tickets will go on sale first, offering fans the best ticket pricing since the festival’s debut edition.
The countdown to this legendary event continues with tickets going on sale on 26 November 2024.

Limited number of General Access tickets are from R600.
Limited number of VIP tickets are from R800.
VVIP (Johannesburg only) tickets are from R3,500.
Registration grants you the best possible opportunity to the lowest price tickets available.
Rewind and Tier 1 tickets are limited to 2 tickets per registered Ultranaut and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Once Rewind tickets sell out, Tier 1 tickets will automatically become available and thereafter Tier 2.
Ticket prices are all-inclusive, with no additional or hidden fees.
