The multi-award winning production that has just enjoyed rave responses in Cape Town, now comes to Johannesburg for a strictly limited run from 5 to 23 June. Written and directed by the visionary Michael Taylor-Broderick, and featuring the brilliant Cara Roberts in the solo role, “The King of Broken Things” is nothing short of a theatrical masterpiece that has been captivating hearts and minds across South Africa and beyond. Amongst its many accolades are a Gold Standard Bank Ovation Award at last year’s National Arts Festival, a Toyota Woordfees Award in the family theatre category, a Fleur Du Cap Award nomination for Best Production for Children and Young Audiences, and 3 international awards at the Golden Dolphin International Puppet Festival.
