Rising singer-songwriter, Shaza is set to captivate audiences with her latest single, “Just Hold On.” The track, born from personal struggles, is a powerful reminder of hope and resilience, reflecting Shaza’s journey through adversity.

Inspired by a challenging period in her life, Shaza found solace in her music, using it as a medium to heal and uplift herself. “I was dealing with loss, personal changes, and tragedy,” she shares. “I spontaneously started writing this song to motivate and uplift myself, and I hope it does the same for others”. Her intention is clear – provide an instant emotional lift through her music. The song conveys a message of optimism, reminding listeners that bad days will pass, and brighter days are ahead.
Collaborating with Hit Kitchen Studios, owned by multi-award-winning artist and producer Daniel Baron, Shaza found the perfect partner to bring her vision to life. “Daniel is a very talented artist and producer,” says Shaza. “He captured the essence of the song brilliantly, creating a contemporary and euphoric sound”. Shaza’s music is a fusion of energetic electronic, pop, and rock elements, characterized by vibrant beats and pulsating synthesizers. Her sound, as showcased in “Just Hold On,” is both powerful and vibrant, reflecting her unique musical identity.
For those new to Shaza’s work, her background reveals a lifelong passion for music. Growing up in Johannesburg, she was surrounded by melodies from a young age. Her parents recognized her talent early on, encouraging her to participate in talent shows, karaoke nights, and open mic events. This foundation paved the way for Shaza’s career as a performing artist. She has since relocated to the Garden Route.
When asked about her musical inspirations, Shaza cites legendary artists such as Hans Zimmer, Queen, Andrea Bocelli, Jon Bellion, and Tash Sultana. Looking to the future, she’d love to collaborate with the likes of Jon Bellion, Zakes Bantwini, Will Linley, Kygo, and Ed Sheeran. As for what’s on the horizon, Shaza is already hard at work on several projects, with plans to release an EP in the near future. Her fans can expect more great and powerful music from this talented artist.
