‘LET’S DO DINNER’ TALENT REVEALED

The much-anticipated Stella Artois Let’s Do Dinner event, to be hosted by Nomzamo Mbatha and Kat Sinivasan in Johannesburg on October 25, just got even more fascinating with the announcement of Chef Reuben Riffel and singer – songwriter Shekinah, as participating talent at the event billed as an “evening with SA’s most interesting people from all walks of life”.

Premised on the classic question of “if you could invite anyone to dinner, who would that be?”, the Stella Artois Let’s Do Dinner Event will bring together over South Africa’s most interesting people – from actors to musicians, artists, and authors – for a dinner that celebrates the power of human connection around the table.

The South African event follows the initial Let’s Do Dinner Event in New York City last month, hosted by Ludacris & Zoe Saldanha and attended by Nomzamo Mbatha.

Revered South African celebrity chef, Reuben Riffel will create a spectacular dinner, including a theatrically plated desert, while – supported by a guitarist, drummer and pianist behind a white baby grand, singer-songwriter, Shekinah, will perform an unplugged selection from her repertoire.

“I’m thrilled to be involved in this extraordinary event and am busy creating a menu that will explore our regional flavours and produce in a way that brings the wow factor. There are going to be a number of surprises which will spark conversation!” says chef Reuben Riffel.

“The great intention behind Let’s Do Dinner is to really bring people together for a moment of authentic human connection. That and good food, great people, inspired conversation, and amazing talent promise a very special time,” said Marsha Kumire, Marketing Director, Stella Artois.
