Exciting new online series unlocks secrets to South African’s success
Dr Johan Beukes, a high-performance leadership coach, inspirational speaker, and authentic living advocate, has announced the launch of an exciting new online series focused on successful South Africans.
Titled DIE ANDER KANT VAN SUKSES, the series will feature honest and intimate interviews with several South African personalities who have achieved success across various fields.
“The idea for the show was born when I realised that people tend to romanticise success. There’s something elusive yet exhilarating about it,” says Johan. “What few people realise, however, is that once you achieve what you originally strived for, you start facing other challenges and, of course, opportunities. DIE ANDER KANT VAN SUKSES is an attempt to offer viewers a glimpse into the lives of those who have taken that journey.”
The first episode, produced in collaboration with Starburst Promotions and ISC Creative, will feature social media influencer, Chané Grobler who’s following on TikTok is currently over 2.5 million. It will be launched on Facebook on Thursday, 6 April at 10h00. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jabeukes1/
Additionally, viewers can look forward to weekly discussions with local achievers such as Leon van Nierop, Aletté-Johanni Winckler, Jak de Priester, Nicholis Louw, Hunter Kennedy, Llewellyn Greeff. Henk Pretorius, Corli Botha and Lizz Meiring, to name but a few, about their respective roads to success, and what awaits on the other side.
As one of South Africa’s foremost leadership coaches, boasting more than 23 years’ experience, Johan has partnered with thousands of local and international leaders, teams and organisations, guiding them towards successfully navigating the leadership adventure.
“I enjoy speaking to and learning more about the world of successful people, and I want to share that with others,” explains Johan. “Many people don’t have access or the opportunity to speak to the people I’ve been fortunate to interview. Hopefully these interactions will help them on their own journey to success.”
Johan himself is no stranger to achievement. He holds a BA, BA Hons, and MDiv in Theology/Spirituality, as well as an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology, an MPhil in leadership and a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Educational Psychology.
Additionally, he completed an International Social Entrepreneurship programme with INSEAD Executive Education in 2015, followed by an Emerging Leaders course at Harvard University in 2016. Recently, he was invited to attend a Distinctive Leadership Course at the Leadership College London.
These qualifications are complemented by various accreditations – Johan is a qualified Life and Business Coach, an Executive Strengths Coach (Strengthsfinder), a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator facilitator, a Cultural Transformation Tools facilitator, and an Enneagram facilitator. He is also registered as a psychometrist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. In addition to these stellar achievements, he boasts an impressive resume.
Johan’s achievements support his core life business, which he outlines as “the accompaniment of successful people, especially leaders, teams and organisations, on their journeys towards having a meaningful impact in the world through their purpose, or who they are.”
Commenting on DIE ANDER KANT VAN SUKSES, the leadership and success expert concludes: “We often think that there are universal secrets to success, but every person has a unique story – a human story. My aim with this series is to give people hope and to show them that they too can be successful.”
