Nigerian-born, South Africa-based Afrobeat artist Rhyma releases his latest single “Healin’” ahead of his much-anticipated album set to be titled “Stamina”. For a visual accompaniment, Rhyma re-joins forces with world-renowned music video producer and director Kyle White to create a visual experience to appease the sight senses and accompany the song to truly tell the emotive story of the track.
With the smooth lyrical content, Rhyma describes the song to have an alluring vibe with the intention to bring happiness to the listener. With the intention to create something unique and fresh.
In creating Healin’, Rhyma found the writing process simple and almost effortless as once the beat dropped, Rhyma’s imagination ran wild and he knew the song told a story that would show appreciation for those close to his heart and felt that his fans would share this sentiment.
To Rhyma, the song is in itself healing – he feels it improves one’s emotional well-being.

Kyle White came up with the concept of the music video with the intention to keep it really simple to suit and enhance the song. Bringing in the African flavour with the famous Sowetan towers gives the look Kyle White was going for. Rhyma expressed the process of creating the Healin music video as fun and engaging with a great team effort to make it productive with the best result.
