The Centurion Theatre to host the first ever annual CENTURION QUEER FEST.


The Centurion Theatre is proud to announce a new project and festival that will keep to its important ethos of “Arts for the Community” by hosting and facilitating a festival that celebrates a proud, colorful, and beloved part of our arts-family – the Queer Community. The first ever annual CENTURION QUEER FEST will host seven (7) outstanding Queer Artists in four (4) unforgettably entertaining productions of pure Queer excellence.
The Queer Festival will run at the Centurion Theatre from 11 – 14 May 2022 with a stellar line-up. Tickets go on sale from Friday, 25 April with both single events tickets (R160 each) AND Full Fest Pass tickets (R550 for all 4 shows) available.

We invite ALL our beloved LGBTQIA+ community member, allies, friends, family and everyone who wants to celebrate diversity and be entertained to book their tickets and to get ready for a queer-tastic festival!


11 May, 19h00: Scintillating Sinners with Betty Bangles and Riri Rouge –
Drag Legends of the South African circuit!

12 May, 19h00: Tucked and Loaded with Shenay O’brien and Betty Bangles
– Star of Idols SA and Drag-stages, and Dragalicious Diva Legend combine their
powers of tucking to give us what we deserve – ENTERTAINMENT!

13 May, 19h00: Edò (with Nightingale) – All the way from Cape Town, this will
be the new queer icon’s first gig in Pretoria!

14 May, 19h00: Armand Joubert (with Yahto Kraft) – Famed star from The
Voice SA!

ETC – The Nightclub (in Centurion) will host the official Queer Fest afterparties, every night after the shows. All guests are welcome to attend, and our Queer Artists will also make an appearance to celebrate
with you.
