Where do dreams begin and where do they end?  What do you do when the colours of your life’s coat start to change?  Since Phantom of the Opera, there has been a perception that André Schwartz and Andrew Lloyd Webber are friends.  In Any Dream Will Do – My Pad met Webber, Schwartz explores his relationship with everything that is Andrew Lloyd Webber – a relationship that began when he was first introduced to Andrew’s work at the age of 12 after seeing Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

About Andre Schwartz:

André Schwartz’s celebrated and multifaceted career spans music, theatre, television, and the business world.  Born and raised in Johannesburg, he made his television debut at fourteen and was classically trained as both a singer and pianist, a foundation that has supported his multifaceted career in popular Afrikaans music, musical theatre and broadcast media.  Over several decades, Schwartz has released numerous albums – many of which have achieved gold status – with beloved hits such as Ek wil jou nooit weer sienLief vir alles hier and Ritme deur die nag, and has worked with icons such as Yvonne Chaka Chaka, among others.
