Women’s Month Special: Inspirational Guest Neo Kirchway Joins Parent & Baby Brunch Podcast for Special Women’s Month Episode

This August, in celebration of Women’s Month, the Parent & Baby Brunch podcast is thrilled to feature an extraordinary guest whose story of resilience and determination will leave listeners both moved and inspired. Join host Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp as she welcomes Neo Kirchway, a remarkable double-amputee mother from Botswana who now calls the USA home.

Neo Kirchway’s journey from a young girl facing profound challenges to becoming a celebrated social media sensation and devoted mother of four is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Born in Botswana with both legs amputated as a toddler, Neo was not deterred by the hardships she faced. Instead, she embraced her dreams with a fierce determination, dancing her way into the hearts of many and proving that barriers are meant to be broken. “We didn’t have electricity when I was a child, but we were happy, and sometimes joy and our happiness means more than conforming to what people say is right” says Neo.

In this special episode, Neo opens up about her experiences growing up, the challenges of being different, and her powerful message of acceptance and love. “I was mocked and laughed at because I look different,” Neo reflects. “Kids are not always taught at home that children are different, and we need to love everyone no matter what they look like.”

Her story is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the boundless potential of embracing one’s true self. Now, living her dream life in the USA with her supportive husband and four children, Neo Kirchway stands as a beacon of hope and an example of how love and joy can overcome any adversity. Says Neo, “When I became pregnant, people often asked me, aren’t you worried? In my real life, no one ever had issues with my marriage, being from Botswana and now living in the USA, it’s only comments on social media. I’ve used my platform to help advocate worthy causes, including the importance of breastfeeding. I recommend breastfeeding your baby for as long as you can, and I’m hoping my videos will educate & help other moms”

Tune in to this heartfelt episode of Parent & Baby Brunch for a dose of pure inspiration. Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp’s engaging interview with Neo Kirchway promises to be a moving exploration of courage, motherhood, and the unyielding power of love.

About Neo Kirchway

Neo Kirchway is a double-amputee mother of three. Originally from Botswana, she was raised by a single mother who worked tirelessly to support Neo and her brother, Neo’s early life was marked by both hardship and resilience.

Determined to provide her children with a strong work ethic, Neo’s mother emphasised the importance of diligence, which propelled Neo to excel academically. This success led to a scholarship opportunity to study abroad at Carleton University in Canada. During her time there, Neo discovered the internet, a novel experience for someone from a village setting. She found valuable academic resources and entertainment, including Korean dramas, which were new to her. Additionally, she formed online friendships that eventually led to her first visit to America and, ultimately, meeting her husband. See her content here: https://www.instagram.com/neokirchbaby/
