World Goth Day is observed annually on the 22nd of May. The Official World Goth Day site defines it as “a day where the goth scene gets to celebrate its own being, and an opportunity to make its presence known to the rest of the world.”
To commemorate our goth friends, Gotcha’s Pizzeria, Ke Ai and Yes Sir! Events will be hosting its monthly Geek Gathering market in recognition of our Goth friends and family on Saturday, the 25th of May 2024 at Garden on 4th and 65 on 4th in Linden from 11h00.
The convergence of dark elegance and nerdy delights is set to take centre stage for a fun filled market. The Geek Gathering Market will boast an array of vendors offering a curated selection of merchandise, from vintage goodies, pop culture collectables, comics, artwork, handcrafted jewellery, fashion and more. Food trucks will cater to diverse tastes, offering tantalising treats to fuel the day’s adventures with our monthly Geek Quiz which starts at 2:30pm on the day and incredible music acts and DJs.
