Marble Hospitality, a collection of award-winning restaurants and bars in Johannesburg, South Africa took home four awards at the Luxe Awards last night. Megan Meikle, head pastry chef for the group was named Pastry Chef of the Year, Zioux was named Bar of the Year, Marble was named Best Grill House, and David Higgs was named Culinary Pioneer.

Situated in Keyes Art Mile, the growing art and food hub of Rosebank, Marble Restaurant boasts a grand wood-fired grill imported from Grill Works in Michigan as the focal point of the restaurant. The concept combines the open-fire trend, seen internationally, with an added pinch of true South African flair.
David Higgs is a renowned chef who has been at the forefront of the culinary scene in South Africa, and his name is synonymous with the food and hospitality industry. He along with Dino and Gary head up Marble Hospitality.
