
Weslander, the West Coast’s longest-standing community newspaper, is proud to announce a significant expansion of its distribution footprint, extending further north to Vredendal. The milestone growth sees the publication’s free weekly print run increase from 12 000 to 13 000 copies, effective from its first June edition, published on Thursday, 4 June 2026.
As part of this expansion, Weslander’s distribution area will now encompass the Cederberg and Matzikama municipal areas, with approximately 1 100 bulk delivery copies reaching the towns of Lamberts Bay, Elands Bay, Citrusdal, Clanwilliam, Graafwater, Vanrhynsdorp, Klawer, Vredendal and Lutzville.
