Rocking The Daisies 2024: Halfway Mark Hits With Epic Performances And Vibes

We’re halfway through Rocking the Daisies, and it’s been nothing short of legendary! With the theme ‘In the Stars,’ festivalgoers have experienced two incredible nights under the African sky, surrounded by the magic of music and electrifying performances.

The festival is heating up, quite literally, as the temperature hit a sizzling 36 degrees on Saturday. Across three stages, international and local artists have been turning up the heat, keeping the crowd dancing and the energy high.

Festival Highlights So Far:

  • Swedish singer-songwriter. Snoh Aalegra mesmerised with her soulful, emotive performance.  
  • Nigerian superstar Ayra Starr had the audience screaming along to her hyped set. 
  • Our very own South African stars — Sun El Musician, Mi Casa, Kash CPT, Zee Nxumalo, Nasty C, Shekhinah, and more — delivered unforgettable sets that had fans roaring for more.

Still to Come:

  • BLK Odyssy: This multi-talented artist blends funk, soul, and rock into a sound that’s uniquely his.  
  • 6lack: The American R&B sensation behind the hit “Prblms” is set to deliver a show-stopping performance.   
  • Smino: With his innovative neo-soul rap style, he’s ready to bring his signature vibe to the Daisies stage.   

The weekend’s not over yet. There’s still more local talent, daytime chills at the Flying Fish Beach Club* activities and prizes to grab in Daisy Town, plus a chance to shoot hoops and score goals at the SuperSportBet Sports Centre.
