Charlie Harris Revives Fan-Favourite “Catch Me”

Folk-rock singer-songwriter Charlie Harris returns with a renewed spotlight on “Catch Me,” one of the standout tracks from his debut album and a long-time fan favourite at his live shows. Known for getting crowds singing along, the upbeat energy of “Catch Me” has always been infectious — but beneath the lively exterior lies a deeper emotional plea.

What inspired the song?

“‘Catch Me’ might sound upbeat and catchy, but underneath the hooks it’s really a shout, a plea from someone who feels invisible and worn down. It’s that moment when you’re falling apart inside and all you want is for someone, anyone, to reach out, grab your hand, and show you that you matter.” — Charlie Harris

While its melody shines with radio-ready sparkle, the heart of “Catch Me” beats with vulnerability. It captures the quiet desperation of someone who hides their struggle behind humour, charm, or a smile — hoping someone will notice before it’s too late.

Charlie picked up his first guitar at 13, thanks to his uncle, setting him on a path that would produce hundreds of songs, several bands, and eventually his folk-rock project Keep Guessing Charlie. Charlie has since released two full albums — Digital Dust (Side A) and Digital Dust (Side B) — and grown a loyal community drawn to his raw honesty and warm storytelling.

“Catch Me” remains one of the earliest songs that defined his sound, and its emotional punch continues to resonate deeply with audiences.
