Making light using satire, humour, music and love to bring relief to life’s challenges has always been at the core of Van Pletzen’s DNA. They believe that “light is contagious”.
With the release of their new album, Om lig te maak, and the release of this legeh new music video featuring Kurt Darren, “Moot tot Amerika”, they have done exactly that.
And, as Kurt Darren sings in this song:
Groothond, hier is ek vir slegs ’n lyn of twee
Maar ek kort slegs twee lyne om hierdie song ’n treffer te maak!
(Translation: “Groothond, here I am for just a line or two. But I need only two lines to make this song a hit!”)
