Fresh off the heels of a career-defining performance at New York City’s iconic Carnegie Hall last year, and off the back of two incredible shows in New York City earlier this month, Jesse Clegg continues to usher in a bold new era with the release of his latest single, Darker Days – his first single with music label EMPIRE for distribution.

Darker Days is a moody, cinematic pop anthem about facing your demons and stepping into your truth. “This song came from a place of deep introspection,” says Clegg. “It’s about accepting the darker parts of ourselves and finding strength in the vulnerability of that process. It’s definitely a new sonic space for me—edgier, more raw.” The single was written and recorded in Los Angeles with acclaimed writer-producer Jordan Topf and long-time collaborator Nicholas Petricca (of Walk The Moon).
South African fans can catch him live, promoting his new single and other hits, at the following venues:
3 April – Fairtree Atterbury Theatre, Pretoria
19 April – Blend, Knysna
20 April – Stanford Hills, Hermanus
