Behind the scenes, the music video came together through the vision and creativity of an exceptional production team. Directed by Mish, DYX, and Alvyn, who also served as the creative directors, the team worked seamlessly to translate the vibrant Y2K-inspired concept into a bold, visually compelling narrative. The set design, crafted by DYX and Mish, beautifully complements the early 2000s vibe, while Alvyn, the Director of Photography, captured the essence of the visual storytelling through dynamic camera work.

The wardrobe, curated by Phuti Styles, showcased iconic Y2K trends, while the makeup, done by Khaya Mhleli, added to the bold, fun aesthetic. In post-production, Alvyn handled the video’s editing with precision, and DYX contributed to the graphics, adding a final layer of polish that truly brings the video to life.

“The concept was inspired by the Y2K era, and we wanted to create something fun, nostalgic, and visually exciting. It’s a celebration of empowerment and individuality,” says Money Badoo. “It was such an enjoyable experience, and I hope people love it as much as we loved making it.”
