Jody Mayhew Releases Heartfelt Single ‘Nog ‘n Kans’ to Inspire Hope and Compassion for Those Facing Life’s Struggles

South African singer-songwriter Jody Mayhew’s new single, ‘Nog ‘n Kans’ (Another Chance), is a deeply moving song that delivers a powerful message of hope, support, and encouragement for those facing difficult times. With heartfelt lyrics inspired by the tragic story of a young person who struggled with life’s challenges, Jody’s latest track serves as a poignant reminder that no one is alone and that there is always hope – even in the darkest moments.

A Message of Compassion: Jody explains, “The song was born from a place of care and sadness. I feel that people don’t hear these words enough: that life without you would be empty. Many, when faced with overwhelming circumstances, may feel lost, and this song is for them. After reading an article about a 15-year-old boy who tragically lost his life, I was deeply moved to write ‘Nog ‘n Kans.’ Little did I know this song would go on to impact someone else’s life in a meaningful way.”
