Len Muller recently released his new single, JY’S OKAY. The popular song is already featured on various radio stations, downloaded across multiple platforms, and now the music video has also been released!
After going through a difficult and heartbreaking time with his wife, Chanél Muller, Len wrote JY’S OKAY in an attempt to comfort both of them both during that challenging period.
The video was produced by Jean de Villiers (brother of Joshua na die Reën’s Jacques) and was filmed at Len’s home in Cape Town. It features scenes of him alone at the piano as well as with a live band.
“Jean’s knack for making a very simple concept look like a high-quality film is truly remarkable. His artistic eye is very finely tuned,” the musician shared.
The concept of the video was developed by Len and Jean, but Chanél’s experience in the film and TV industry was crucial in bringing the concept to life within the limited time and space they had.
“We decided that the song is very personal, so we wanted to keep it ‘close to home’ and try to depict a piece of my heart just like the song does,” Len added.

JY’S OKAY follows in the footsteps of many great radio hits, including Vrede, which was used as the theme song of the kykNET sitcom Mense Mense.
This is also the first release from his upcoming EP, Arende en Engele, which will be released later this year and is specifically written for his wife and little boy.
Since the beginning of Len’s career, his music has been streamed over 2 million times on Apple Music.
He is currently working on a full-length album and planning performances to share his latest music with fans.
JY’S OKAY is available on all digital streaming platforms.
