The award-winning actor, speaker, entrepreneur, and author Hykie Berg’s latest book, GEROEP VIR MEER – OM SUKSESVOL TE LEWE, will be available soon.
The book is inspired by everything Hykie – who openly shares his tumultuous history – has learned over the past two decades about the concept of success and how to achieve it.

He elaborates: “This book deals with the principles of a successful and meaningful life, the dream that God has for your life, and the personal responsibility each of us must demonstrate to partake in the miracle process of life. The book has the potential to change your life if you are willing to take action and apply the principles I discuss.”

Your wildest dreams do not come close to what God has planned for you,” says this versatile man, who met his Creator during the reality show Survivor Maldives in 2010.
Hykie speaks to audiences across the world and is always amazed at how few people follow their dreams and truly live purposefully.
“So many people have no vision for their lives and will therefore never reach their full potential. They do not know what they want out of life. They are like ships without sails. They have stopped dreaming and have no goal, plan, or end destination. But there is a promised land for each of us, the dream that God has for our lives. Every person has the ability to create a multifaceted dream for their lives and make it a reality. We must learn how to set our sails.”
He adds: “God wants to give each of us His best. He does not want His children to perish in debt, poverty, and misery. I am not saying God wants everyone to be millionaires, but His heart is that things go well for each of us. You were meant to make a dent in the universe. You were born to make a difference and live a life of significance. God will give you more than enough to realise His dream for your life so that you can fulfil your assignment here on earth and help others fulfil their assignments. But we have a responsibility in this journey called life.
GEROEP VIR MEER – OM SUKSESVOL TE LEWE is part of Hykie and his wife Gerridene’s vision to create 100 new millionaires in the next five years by empowering them to escape the rat race and live a life of freedom and significance.

Hykie was also the winner of Survivor Maldives in 2010. Since then, he has undertaken several successful projects and is not only an award-winning actor and TV presenter but also an international speaker, successful entrepreneur, and bestselling author.
His previous books include the number one topseller My Storie van Hoop, Ultimate Survivor (the English translation of My Storie van Hoop), which won the Andrew Murray Desmond Tutu Prize, and My Stryd met ADHD-Die Onsigbare Oorlog.
He is also an ambassador for Creative Kidz, a school that provides remedial education and support to children with learning challenges.
Hykie and Gerridene are the proud parents of Leméh, as well as their three Schnauzers, Rupert, Cupcake, and Rori. They live in Johannesburg.
