Thousands of festivalgoers get ready for sold out Liefde by die Dam.
South Africa’s popular music festival Liefde by die Dam will be held at Emmarentia Dam this coming weekend on Saturday 3 August. 15 000 tickets for Liefde by die Dam JHB sold out in minutes ( a record time) a few months ago. This annual festival highlight offers a world-class production, with top-class Afrikaans pop and alternative sounds.
Pierre Greeff from Die Heuwels Fantasties and also one of the main organisers of the Liefde-festivals, says: “We work with the latest stage technology to offer an exceptional experience. Thanks to our sponsors, we can realize our wildest dreams in terms of the size and quality of our event.”
Festivalgoers can leave their blankets on the field after the festival. This year “Moeggesukkel” (https://www.moeggesukkel.co.za/) will collect these blankets to distribute in disadvantaged communities. kykNET offers an exciting activation: concertgoers can audition at the festival for the second series of the popular reality series “Die Brug.”
There will be various bar tents and food stalls and as always plenty of fun with friends and family on the field.
