This song truly is an example of African producers and musicians coming together.

Pa Kabab gete’ (pron: pahkha pah get ee) is a Creole slang phrase that loosely translated means ‘too beautiful to look at’. Born in the Seychelles, on the island of LA Dique during a family vacation, the track was laid down over four days in an island studio, powered by Takamaka rum and the cross culture, cross continent language of love of beauty.

The track would become even more multicultural on its journey back to South Africa, with DJ Zan-D including Nigerian artist Hpee and South African rapper EeQue.
Produced by DJ Choc and TCTEE

This multicultural, multilingual song not only speaks of that moment when you first see a beautiful woman, it also speaks to the connection inherent in all humans, through love and the language of love that is not held in by the barriers of borders and passports.

This song honors the history of the Seychellois culture as well as the language of Creole, isiZulu, and Yoruba.
It honors beauty and love and human connection.

It is truly an example of African producers and musicians coming together no matter how far apart they live and create something magical.

Pa Kapab Gete by DJ Zan-D ft EeQUE and HPEE is available on all DSP’s
