What do you plan to do over the festive season?
Hopefully my husband and I will be going to Cape Town with the dogs.
If all goes well we will be there from around 19 Dec – 9 Jan
If we don’t go away, we will stay in Harties and visit with my best friend and her family as much as possible.
When are the decorations put up in your house?
1st December and no sooner.
What delicious dishes are usually made during the festive season?
My husband Derek is the foodie in our house. He usually goes all out and we have Glazed Gammon or Mostert Vleis, sometimes both, with veggies and roasted potatoes. And for desert, Trifle.
Any specific gift you would like to receive this year?
I would love to receive a full 3 weeks away with my husband and Furkids – I just want quality time with those I love most. I don’t want or need anything material.
Do you have a message for the readers for the festive season?
Rest up as much as you can! 2024 will be upon us before we even know it. Also be safe out there. Appreciate what you have and most importantly, be grateful for anything you receive.
