Jamie-Lee Sexton is flying high after her recent success this past weekend.
The Basadi in Music nomination announcement was held at the Joburg Theatre on Thursday 29th June. The room was filled with excitement as South Africa’s best Female artists, producers, and entertainers in the music field attended this highly anticipated event.
Jamie-Lee secured an astounding 3 Music nominations for her latest work for:
Samro Songwriter of the Year
Pop Artist of the Year
Music Video of the Year
Later that evening Jamie-Lee was invited to perform at the prestigious Sun Bet Arena at Times Square Casino for the Opulent event hosting over 4000 people.
Jamie-Lee says, “Performing on the same stage that held some of the greatest artists of all time including, One Republic, Kevin Hart, Backstreet Boys, and so many more was a dream come true. This was one of the best experiences of my life to date and it was incredibly emotional.”
