The cat’s out of the bag!! Ginger Rock and Phil Davel announced earlier today that they will pair up with none other than the Piza ē Vino restaurant group for the #thisisus launch.
The date was set in stone for the 29th of Jun 2023 and will be hosted at the Lynnwood branch, and boy, oh boy, do they have history together.
There’s definitely no question on how the Piza ē Vino Restaurant fits into the #thisisus family.
Since the opening of the Lynnwood branch in 2016, owner Emden Els and Ginger Rock joined forces to host countless events from Jack Parow brandy launches to celebrity golf days and making pizza with Italian chefs Matto in collaboration with industry friends like Irene Louise van Wyk and Bob Ffole.
Emden currently owns three Piza ē Vino branches in Gauteng – Lynnridge, Queenswood and Cambridge Crossing in Paulshof, Sandton, and a birdy told us the fourth one may be around the corner.
As culinary experience pulls strongly towards the #thisisus lifestyle, we are sitting on the edge of our seats, and can’t wait to unleash what they have in store for the month of June. Ginger and Phil promote the Mediterranean lifestyle as part of the center point of the #thisisus project and fit the profile like a glove.
As conventional is not the order of the day, the collaboration with sponsors like Six dogs Gin, Fitch’s and Leedes and YBY champagne will most definitely become one HUGE masterpiece. Must say, pulling big corporates together and working as one team is brilliant, but also very much a Ginger thing.
Let’s keep you in the loop as Galore SA is the main media house for the #thisisus project.
