Muratie will be hosting a series of five Sunset Sessions in January, February and March 2023, featuring talented local musicians. These events will provide an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy a slower pace at this historic family estate, soaking up the summer sun, surrounded with friends, while enjoying the live music, beautiful sunset views of vineyards with Table Mountain in the distance, good food and a glass of your favourite Muratie wine.
FIRST UP IS THE NICK TURNER TRIO ON SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY FROM 16h00 UNTIL 19h30
Nick Turner accomplished South African singer and songwriter, and his nimble-fingered musical compadres, Jonny Blundell and Schalk Joubert, will take you on a riveting musical ride from Brooklyn to the Mother City, from England to Loeriesfontein and beyond. Nick’s music effortlessly spans genres with influences ranging from rock, reggae, and afro-pop to ghoema, hip-hop and jazz.
The venue offers spacious table seating and lawn area, so feel free to bring your own picnic blankets.
