Earlier this week, Ginger Rock and Phil Davel announced the anniversary of This Is Us on Valentine’s Day.
Social media buzzed on Wednesday as both dedicated the special day to the project and, with no surprise, made something different out of the celebration.
According to Ginger, her “armed forces,” YBY South Africa, made sure they celebrated in style.
The theme for the exclusive event was announced, and the guest list was very private.
Followers got a glimpse of the well-planned decor a day before the event.
The Black Pajama Dinner, hosted by the two on Valentine’s Day, invited only eight guests.
It was the perfect romantic setting, with roses, soft light, and crystal.
Blessed with some culinary experience, they planned and paired the menu with YBY Rose Sparkling Wine as a powerful ingredient.
Seasoned Hake was assembled in a coconut blush wine mousse, roofed with rosé fruit caviar served as the starter, and plated in the most delicate setting.
Vadouvan Curry Chicken was served with basmati rice and grilled sweet potato and blessed the guests with something that they call #agingerthing
Sparkling pink confiture complimented the coffee-infused truffle served with a splash of vanilla mousse.
They expressed themselves through lifestyle choices that included everything they loved. Yes, love is differently present here, as is passion with a dash of style.
Special moments deserve special decor, food, and people. Happy anniversary This is us. We celebrate and salute you!
